Studio by Antoinette's first chapter as a creative business was born directly out of planning this wedding — Antoinette and Kevin's September 13, 2025 celebration at The Old Mill at Audrey's Farmhouse in the Hudson Valley. It was never just a wedding. From the very beginning, it was treated as a living, breathing emotional experience. Designed from the inside out, rooted in feeling first and logistics second.

The vision was clear even when the details weren't: intimate, cozy, warm, whimsical, romantic. An atmosphere guests could genuinely feel rather than simply observe. The Hudson Valley setting wasn't chosen for aesthetics alone — it was chosen because it could hold the kind of weekend they wanted to create. Guests stayed onsite Friday through Sunday. Rehearsal dinner, wedding day, morning-after brunch. It was never one night. It was a world.

The Old Mill had a strong personality of its own, and rather than trying to transform it, the design worked with it. Every single detail — from the menus and signage to the lounges, the cakes (yes, multiple), the favors, the getting ready space, through to the reception — was designed with intention. The palette drove everything. Even the bridesmaid dresses and each of their individual bouquets were part of the same visual story. The ikebana arrangements, the bridal bouquet, the custom illustrated mini honey jar favors, the personalized matches — nothing was an afterthought.

Every moment filtered through one question: how do we want this to feel? The answer shaped everything — whimsical and cozy, warm and romantic, playful but deeply personal. Something that could only ever have been theirs.

Approached the same way every Studio by Antoinette project is — feeling first, details second. And that's what made it feel less like a wedding and more like a world built for the people they love most.

It was the project that started everything.
